Free Show! Au Revoir Simone and Class Actress Get Together at Grand Central

​When false rumors about the closure of Mamushka's Midtown spread throughout the Miami scene like some kinda nasty, textually transmitted disease, Sirens and Sealions singer-songwriter and Mute Miami booking boss Johanna Viscaino got a little skittish, shifting Au Revoir Simone's Miami gig to another venue.

"I moved the show because I can't trust that happening again," she told Crossfade at the time. "It's too risky." And initially, the new spot was gonna be the Electric Pickle. But when those plans fell apart, Viscaino and Au Revoir Simone hooked up with downtown hangout Grand Central.

Finally, though, all that confusion has passed and Viscaino's sharing some awesome news. This Saturday's show will be totally free, thanks to sponsor Absolut Vodka.

Plus, with the move, it's become an indie megaconcert, starring five stellar indie acts: Au Revoir Simone and Grand Central's originally scheduled headliner, Class Actress, along with supporting sets from The Blow, Of Montreal's Kevin Barnes, and Run Sevim Run.

And if that's not enough awesomeness, Absolut will be giving away gratis Glimmer cocktails from 9 till 11 p.m. So show up nice and early for free bands and free booze.

After all, it's, uh, free.
