For Crossfade, Holiday spirit consists of little more than a pair of reindeer boxer shorts and a couple of gag gifts.

Decorating? That's an upper-middle class game, the type of shit you find in gated communities 'round suburbia. It's for people with way too much free time on their hands and a hard-on for YouTube hits.

But these days, a strand of half-burnt holiday lights stapled sloppily along the roof ain't worth shit. On the eve of 2012, it's all about synchronizing thousands of flashing LEDs to extremely obnoxious music.

Check out ten examples of outrageously spirited homes from around the web.

"First of the Year (Equinox)" - Skrillex
With 35,000 LEDs womp-womping around the Christmas tree, this Idaho home is an epileptic's nightmare.

"I am the Best" - 2NE1
Everything is bigger in Texas, including December's electricity bill.

"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" - Daft Punk
This family worked harder, better, faster, stronger than anyone else on the block to ensure their home became raver Christmas central.

"Sandstorm" - Darude
Want to know the difference between techno and house? This song.

"Wizards in Winter" - Trans-Siberian Orchestra
This is a Trans-Siberian nightmare. All we want for Christmas is to never hear these prog rockers again.
