Ten Best Music-Related Things to Do This Weekend Under $10

Categories: Ten under $10
Wild out with 12th Planet.
While we're stuck blogging about Miss Jewish South Florida and Beyonce Knowles's real estate blunders, thousands of college students around Miami are spending the next three weeks freeloading off their parents and living the dream that is Winter Break.

Unfortunately for many of them, the Bright Futures scholarship money has dwindled dramatically since the start of the semester and several of these co-eds are down to their last few bucks. Lucky for them, though, Crossfade compiles a list of gnarly shit to do each week under $10. Check it after the cut.

Suenalo. Friday, December 16, 9 p.m., The Lucky Clover, 1111 SW First Ave, Miami. Free. Here's your chance to see Miami New Times' Best Latin Band 2011 for free in the middle of Little Havana. Get (Latin) funky with it, bro.

Black Tusk. Friday, December 16, 8 p.m., Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE Second Ave, Miami. $9. Get your rage on at Miami's grimiest Brit pub with one of Geogia's gnarliest groups.

Jolly Jame. Friday, December 16, 6 p.m., Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave., Miami. $5. Celebrate the holidays with Miami's oldest bar and get your picture taken with Santa, the real one.

Streetkind and Ko. Friday, December 16, 11 p.m., Jazid, 1342 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. $10. Blending elements of reggae, rock, and hip-hop, Streetkind and Ko are gonna sucker punch Jazid with a high-energy aural freak fest.

12th Planet. Saturday, December 17, 10 p.m., Grand Central, 697 N. Miami Ave, Miami. $10. Dubstep's taking over Miami this weekend, but if you can't afford the $30 tickets for the Skrillex show at the Fillmore, drop $10 on 12th Planet's Grand Central after party.
