Mariah Carey Ignores Doctors, Shacks Up With Sick Husband Nick Cannon in Hospital Bed

Get well soon, Nick!

​Nick Cannon has fallen ill and he's "fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure," according to wife Mariah Carey.

The singer posted a picture on her website of the America's Got Talent host inside an Aspen hospital rocking a blue beanie and general look of discontent.

Carey -- who's in the midst of a career comeback via a Jenny Craig endorsement -- can be seen cuddling up next to her man in what she calls a "role reversal."



"Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are," she writes. "We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C."

In true diva fashion, Carey made her husband's medical procedure the Mimi Show, ignoring the hospital staff's request to let Cannon rest and turning his recovery into an online photo-op.

She's also asking her fans to keep "us" -- her and Nick -- in their prayers. Bupkis!
