Whoa, this week totally flew by. Granted, it was a four-day workweek. But shit, where'd the time go?

It seems like only yesterday we were bashing Nickelback, pushing Armand Van Helden's January 27 gig at Arkadia and getting down with Travis Barker's pee-pee.

But that's old news. It's Friday, you've got a depressingly small paycheck burning a whole in your wallet and you're looking for an almost free, music-related way to blow it. Naturally, you've turned to your favorite cheapskates, Crossfade.

Per usual, check out our list of the ten best music-related happenings this weekend 'round the Big Mango.

Big Night Little Haiti. Friday, January 20, 6 p.m., Little Haiti Cultural Center, 212 NE 59th Terr., Miami. Free. Jowee Omicil jazzes up Little Haiti with music off his Roots & Grooves record.

Grand Central Park Grand Opening with Elastic Bond. Friday, January 20, 5 p.m., Grand Central Park, 700 N. Miami Ave., Miami. Free. There's a new spot where homeless folks and hipsters can hang out in Overtown. It opens tomorrow.

Destroyio Records Presents. Friday, January 20, 7 p.m., Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE Second Ave., Miami. $6. Y'all ready to rage with some of Miami's gnarliest underground punks?

Downtown Get Down Urban Music Festival. Friday, January 20, 6 p.m., Tobacco Road, 626 S. Miami Ave., Miami. $5. Happy hour at Miami's oldest pub goes urban for the third annual Downtown Get Down Fest. Rick Ross not included.
