Ultra Music Festival Launches Concert Series With Above & Beyond on March 22

​Just the other day, we here at Crossfade were trying to find a way to console the poor beat freaks who'd failed to buy, buy, buy tix to Ultra Music Festival 2012 before it totally sold out.

But then Ultra itself mended broken electro hearts, saved beat-freaking dreams, and restored ticketless ravers' will to dance by announcing a whole series of official Miami Music Week parties, including "ROAD TO ULTRA pre-parties, ULTRA CARRY ON after parties, [and] ULTRA BEACH pool parties."

While most details are still secret, festival reps have revealed the lineup, date, and location for the launch of "ULTRA LIVE, [its] amphitheatre-only event series."



On March 22, less than 24 hours before the actual Ultra action gets going, the fest will throw down a raging Bayside rave starring Brit trance mastes and Anjunabeats bosses Above & Beyond (AKA Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki) alongside Arty, Mat Zo, Jaytech, and Boom Jinx.

Appropriately for all those still-traumatized Ultra fans in desperate need of emotional salve and beat rehab, this inaugural edition of Ultra Live has been dubbed Group Therapy Miami in honor of Above & Beyond's latest artist album.

So buy, buy, buy, beat freaks. Show up in your brightest neons. And dance away your pain.
