When Crossfade read this week's edition of Luke's Gospel, entitled "2 Live Crew Is Reuniting Because Our Fans Want To Shake That Booty," we got, like, "Me So Horny!"-level excited.

It was kinda embarassing to be seen walking around the office with our tongue hanging out and a tent in our pants while chanting, "Drop dat coochie!"

But honestly, we haven't been this sprung since watching half of the group's OG lineup -- Fresh Kid Ice and Brother Marquis -- pop some porno pussy at last year's Exxxotica Miami Beach.

Uncle Luke actually broke the news about 2 Live Crew's reunion over the weekend while chillin' at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, with his short film The Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke, its director Jillian Mayer, and producers Lucas Leyva and Rakontur.

Chatting with the AP, the nasty rapper, ex-Miami-Dade mayoral candidate, and New Times columnist confirmed that he, Kid Ice, and Marquis were getting back together and planning a summer 2012 tour.

"We're going to perform the songs and everybody's going to be excited," he said. "Some of the older people of our generation will be able to tell their kids, 'You're staying home tonight, we're going to see 2 Live Crew and shake our booty!'"

Then in this morning's column, Luke got his hypeman on, revealing that 2 Live Crew's pussy-poppin' trip's gonna be "the Lollapolooza of Bass music," a "20-city tour" starring "Dj Magic Mike, the 69 Boyz, Quad City Djs, Dj Kool, JT Money and Poison Clan, and Sir Mix-A-Lot."

"It doesn't matter if you were black, Asian or Jewish," he says, "everybody loved songs like 'Me So Horny,' 'I Wanna Rock,' 'Daisy Dukes' and "Shake What Ya Momma Gave Ya.' They still do."

And always modest, Luke adds, "This reunion is going to be bigger than David Lee Roth and Van Halen getting back together after 27 years apart ... Anyone who comes to the show is going to be partying their ass off for three straight hours."
