At the end of Skrillex's set last night, inflated condoms fell to the floor and dubstep-lovers at Ultra Music Festival's Main Stage left the scene like their lives depended on it.

Maybe they were tired from fist-pumping to Skrillex's remix of Benny Benassi's "Cinema." Or maybe they didn't realize who would be closing out the fest's Friday night. Twenty minutes later, everyone came to their senses and made the trek back to see Dutch DJ Tiësto.

Chances are you've heard one of his mixes, maybe "Zero 76" or "C'Mon." The Grammy-nominated artist recently announced the release date (April 24) for the second installment of his Club Life series, Club Life: Volume Two, Miami. The record is inspired by Magic City's nightlife and consists of his own original tracks as well as remixes of popular songs, like Afrojack and Shermanology's "Can't Stop Me Now." So it was definitely appropriate for him to play some of this new material at Ultra.

Fashionably late, the DJ performed to a packed crowd of bros in tank tops whose barely-dressed girlfriends clambered up onto their shoulders. The crowd seemed hyped for Tiësto's set (or from everything that was in their system at that point).

And after a few crowd-pleasers, including remixes of Coldplay's "Paradise," Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," and Calvin Harris's "Feel So Close," a little bit of chaos broke out beside us when yet another girl insisted on drunkenly jumping onto her boyfriend's shoulders. She never made it.

Just ten minutes into Tiësto, though, the energy died down. Some went to grab a beer, others contemplated catching Pretty Lights' 11:10 p.m. performance at the Live Stage. But for fans who stayed, they heard brand-new Club Life tracks like "Chasing Summers" and they saw the Dutch superproducer close the set with "Maximal Crazy," an original mix from his next album.

Was it the most impressive set we've seen? Nope. But it still uhntz-uhntz-ed pretty hard.
