Headlined by the Black Keys, Radiohead, and west coast rap superstars Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, Coachella's back-to-back weekend stint at Indio, California's Empire Polo Ground kicks off tomorrow.

While the festival will inevitably produce memorable moments, few will top the resurrection of Nate Dogg, G-funk's most deceased "melodic homie."

According to TMZ, the late rapper will make a special appearance via hologram with his buddies Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, marking the first time a dead musician co-headlines the main stage at a major music festival.

Unable to let go, TMZ's unnamed source says that Dr. Dre was uncomfortable leaving Nate Dogg out of his Sunday performance. Naturally, the rap-megastar-turned-headphone-pioneer is using modern technology to ease his grieving process.

Thus, Nate Dogg's image will be projected onto the Coachella stage using a sophisticated "Pepper's Ghost" technique, the same 3D technology that South Florida-based Media Stage used to impress a room full of tech nerds in 2010.

The late rapper is scheduled to perform alongside Dre, Snoop, Warren G, Kurupt, and Daz Dillinger. No word yet as to whether or not Nate Dogg's posthumous porno will be available in hologram.
