Is Rick Ross the Latest Celebrity Face of Jenny Craig?
Last night, Rick Ross and Mariah Carey, together in a Miami recording studio with Jermaine Dupri and DJ Khaled.
"Rozay and MiMi," Ross tweeted at around 1 a.m. Attached to the late night message, an Instagram photo of the Teflon Don and the stunning Mrs. Nick Cannon.
Are the two collaborating on new music? Perhaps. But there's also the possibility that the meeting was a sort of intervention, a plea from friends to curb The Bawse's food addiction.
"Everyone said I was fat," Carey reveals in the May issue of Shape magazine, "so I did something about it."
The 42-year-old mother of twins is finally opening up about her dramatic, 70-pound weight loss, partially the result of a Jenny Craig diet. As a formerly overweight entertainer, we can't help wondering whether Carey's trying to help Ross cut his caloric intake.
Rozay's dietary habits made headlines last year when the Miami rapper was profiled in GQ. For dinner, the MMG honcho took down "fried cheese bread, artichoke dip, roasted chicken with sides" and some Key lime pie.
"That's how you gotta eat," he said. "You gotta eat like a don."
But Ross suffered a seizure on a Memphis-bound flight three days after the GQ article ran online. And less than four hours later, he suffered a second one.
Earlier this month, Ross cancelled two shows -- one in Houston, another in Guyana -- "due to health issues," according to BET. While rumors that he'd suffered another seizure remain unconfirmed, the fact of the matter is that Ross needs to get healthy.
And maybe it's time to diet like a don.
