Wow...horrible "history" of trap music....DJ Screw's mixes had little to no influence on Trap Music other than the fact he was connected to Lil Flip who later helped develop the trap sound. T.I. definitely pushed forward the Trap sound but quickly abandoned it''s rigid structure and you made no mention of the biggest influence on Trap music in hip hop...Young Jeezy...please do not write another "history" on any sub-genre of rap before atleast listening to the music and doing research.

This is pretty bad. Flockaveli came out in 2010. And, "chopped and screwed" is a style of dj editing, and is totally separate from trap. Trap isnt about the beats, its the lyrics.

@cliftoncr no trap is more the style of beats than lyrics...heavy on hi-hats and synths...listen to early no-limit or cashmoney (pre-99) to get a clue

I agree.. if something isn't right; it needs to be correct as far as an article goes. I do like the article though as a "trap music" fan myself. Gucci Mane I think is the best supplier of this style rap out there especially with the amount of hits he has freely available on Datpiff.com.
