Weezy is bored.

Ever since Lil Wayne got outta the clink after serving eight months on Rikers Island for "attempted criminal possession of a weapon," he's been dropping clues about retiring to a life of chillin' with his kids, writing memoirs, watching 18 hours of ESPN per day, managing his $100-million Young Money fortune, and repping Trukfit, bitch.

Oh, and let's not forget doing early-retirement kickflips in public parking lots on South Beach. 'Cause, as the YMCMB boss revealed to Atlanta radio jock DJ Drama yesterday: "Rap is taking a backseat to skating."

That's right ... Even though Weezy just dropped a new supertrippy clip for the lead single, "My Homies Still," off impending musical mindfuck I Am Not a Human Being 2, he's still sorta sick of this hip-hop shit.

DJ Drama: I can imagine it could kinda be easy for you to get bored, because there's nothing you haven't done yet. Is that how you feel when you think about your music career?
Lil Wayne: Yeah. But being me, I always feel like I ain't done nothing yet. So I'm always looking for the next thing to do. But other than that ... Yeah, it does get pretty boring when it comes to just the rappin' and all that type of stuff. I've done so much of it. I've been doin' it since I was eight. I'm about to be 30 in September. And I'm still rappin'.

But the cure for Wayne's restlessness ... "Being 'bout that [skate] life."

DJ Drama: I've been hearing rumblings, like, "Weezy's like, 'The music, I'm with it. But I might really focus on this skateboarding thing for the future.'"
Lil Wayne: What happened was I picked up the skateboard and I thought it would be a hobby ... [But] it's a lifestyle. You know, you have to be fully committed, because it's superscary. And in order to be fully committed, you have to live that lifestyle. With these young kids now, you have to be 'bout that life. So like the young kids say, I guess I'm 'bout that life.

It's kinda putting rap on the backburner, that's all. Rap's taking a backseat to skating. I feel like I deserve that. I feel like the fans deserve a little no Wayne. [Laughs] I've been everywhere. I've been out on everybody's songs. I'm still on everybody's songs. My artists are doin' awesome. I believe the fans deserve some peace from me. So I'll be on my skateboard in the meantime.

Alright, uh, well, OK ... Guess we'll catch you on the backside, Weezy. P.S. You know last place at the X Games doesn't pay a billion dollars, right?
