Back in Black Not Canceled, "Moved to Club Space Due to Hurricane Sandy"

Dirty South playing Back in Black at Club Space.jpg
Dirty South wants to see your best slutty astronaut costume.
In Space, no one can hear you scream.

Also, when you party in Space, you stay a lot drier than being out in a hurricane. So it's pretty much the perfect place to move this Saturday's Back in Black fest since Sandy insists on being such a downer.

That's right, the epic Halloween-themed party is sticking it to the man (or at least Mother Nature and the seasonal weather patterns) by proceeding with the regularly scheduled musical festivities.

Basically, it's going to be the best All Hallows' Eve hurricane rave this town has ever seen.

Yes, all your favorite headliners will be in the building, from Dirty South to Paul Van Dyk to LA Riots.

But we haven't even gotten to the best part ...

To thank ticket holders for quietly accepting any inconveniences, they're offering an open bar from noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow.

Ah! Free alcohol! That's the best Halloween treat ever! We totally won't leave flaming poop on your doorstep now.

Make sure to come incognito and make sure the costume is slutty. Because this party will touch upon S&M themes and it's a lot harder to get spanked in jeans than it is a mini-skirt or crotchless stockings. Plus, you wanna look good when you black out after all that free booze.

Rave on party monsters. And stay dry.

Back in Black 2012. Saturday, October 27. Space, 34 NW 11th St., Miami. The party starts at 2 p.m. and tickets cost $75 to $99 via Ages 21 and up. Call 305-507-8366 or visit

This event was a disaster!! Just like many ticket holders, we also waited hours in line, and never made it into Space. The only club we entered was GoldRush to purchase Pink Pony water. Thanks for the memories...

Oh yeah, how can I get my money back... yeah right!!

Won't be attending a GoBig Production in the future.

I puchased two all day tickets to this event and waited three hours in line, and could not get in because Club Space was full capacity.  This place is very disorganized and unprofessional.  We should get refuned for this, since  we did not get what we paid for and could not attend event at no fault of ours.

Jesus. What shoddy "journalism." Let me guess: the promoters gave The Miami New Times staff a few free tickets for that little write-up. Ever think to mention how much this party - which cost us all hundreds of dollars each - is going to SUCK? Free drinks? Good luck getting in line for half a shot of Skol. And due to a hurricane? Ummm. The weather is fine. Get the city to honor their original deal. Oh let me guess - low ticket sales maybe? Guess what, when you post online via the outlet of something resembling a newspaper, you have a responsibility to do your job. Go back to school, blogger.
