Deadmau5 is the product of hype and advertising.. he is the the McDonalds of EDM.. a lot of people may know about him, but that doesn't make his music or his DJ'ing good.Before anyone knew who this hack was,  he was ripping off Crystal Method in this "album" Get Scraped. Then he changed his "style," became popular and completely ripped off Daft Punk's live show.

Great blog ...I live in San Diego and we bring in all those DJs and the people on this coast don't know EDM they just get excited to hear noise! The one DJ that you failed to mention was Pauly D...I almost threw up in my mouth when I saw he made the RollingStone Cut!

Why do these lists make people so crazy, it's just an editor at an old rock centric music magazine which is probably trying to catch onto a younger demographic. Who cares? Make your own list publish it and the haters will attack lol

Is so easy to come to a conclusion to this ROLLING stone is TOP 40 they will go for what is playing now and not the REAL EDM as I don't see Underworld or Mark knight on this list ... Anyway I don't waste time reading crap like this same goes for the top 100 djs wich dosen't make any sense at all !!  

Daft Punk , Sasha , Underworld , chemical brothers , even Bjork is more influential than Deadrat or Avitti LOL

Why is cross fade a bunch of dipshit haters?

ive read both these articles and am not going to dispute were some should be placed and not listed.....but what everyone has to realize its music. just like sports, tv business and any other business for that matter its all opinionated. me for one thinks every one should stop judging music in general. If you like a song/genre great if not stfu and dont listen to it...... reading all these opinionated articles is like watching 2 high school girls fight over a guy.

I very much enjoy how the definition of a producer and dj has become blended by mainstream media as well as the fact that there is not one drum & bass dj on this list. Amazing how not even Andy C is considered. Oh well moving on there is nothing to see here...
