Deadmau5 Proposes to Kat Von D Via Twitter After Three Months of Dating

Experts say that the best marriages are those rushed into after only three months of on-again, off-again dating. Especially when they're shoved down others' throats via obnoxiously adorable Instagram photos and nauseatingly cute tweets.

So, over the weekend, Joel Zimmerman (AKA Deadmau5) finally popped the big question: "How many people in this crowd have seen Molly?" "Will you marry me?" to short-time girlfriend Katherine Von Drachenberg, otherwise known as Kat Von D.

"I can't wait for Christmas," Deadmau5 tweeted. "Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?"

Von D replied, "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!," text-speak for yes.

Moments later, she followed with real words.

Mi corazon!!! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiancé! ❤

Presumably tweeting from one knee, Deadmau5 surprised his bride-to-be with a sweet picture of her would-be ring.

Well, sort of.

According the meme image, Von D's ring will include a black diamond and should be on her finger in the very near future.

"Sorry for the jpg," Mau5 photoshopped into the image. "They'll finish the actual ring soon I hope."

For Kat, it's her second engagement in as many years.

In January 2011, Von D announced that she and motorcycle builder Jesse James were to wed, according to Rolling Stone. A few months later, however, the tattoo artist announced the pair had split.
