Trina Sued for $50 Million After No-Show at America's Next Top Rapper
Da Baddest Bitch has done it again. And by it, we here at Crossfade mean she accepted a bunch of money and then allegedly bailed on a job. Clearly, Trina is just a bossy chick who's allotment of fucks ran out a good while ago.
Now she and her management team have been slapped with a $50-million lawsuit, according to Hip Hop Wired. And all this just one day after dropping her latest mixtape, Back 2 Business.
SMH fer real doe.

Girl was supposed to appear on a panel of judges for a competition in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and help pick "America's Next Top Rapper." According to the plaintiff, Omnipresent Media, Trina was paid half of her appearance fee straight up and she was supposed to help promote the show. And you know, be there.
Instead, Trina accepted the money, but never sent them any kind of promotional materials, which was part of the deal. She also skipped out on the gig, even though travel and accommodations were taken provided for her by Omnipresent.
The company is pissed. Because, without Trina, their event came off as kind of a joke. They said her absence made the crowd "unruly and heckle competition participants." Of course, everyone wants their money back.
In May, Trina was threatened with a similar lawsuit for accepting $7,000 in advance of a scheduled performance in St. Louis, which she also bailed on.
Bitch is battin' a thousand right now, and she needs to be putting in work to support this new mixtape. If she isn't careful, people might stop booking her altogether. Then she won't be a "bad bitch." Bitch would just be bad.
