DJ Shadow dropping his now-notorious "Too Future" mix at Mansion Miami.
It's been 18 days since DJ Shadow got kicked off the decks at Mansion Miami for playing "too future for all of y'all." And it's been a week and a half since the South Beach nightclub offered its "sincere apologies to DJ Shadow and his fans for his set being cut short."

Finally, though, we all get to hear the now-notorious "Too Future" mix. Because over the weekend, Shadow and his team uploaded his "Infamous South Beach Set" to SoundCloud.

Check the cut for the full one-hour-26-minute-and-17-second mix, plus the DJ's smartass little note, asking: "Too hard? Too future? Or just too raw?"

All Basses Covered (The Infamous South Beach Set, December 2012)

Beginning in the Summer of 2012 with his Low End Theory guest spots, DJ Shadow's "All Basses Covered" set has morphed and evolved to incorporate as many different contemporary genres of urban and electronic music as possible. From hardcore rap to footwork and juke and beyond, Shadow has combed the web to curate seamless and dexterous blends of the most progressive sounds bubbling up from the underground. 'Too hard?' 'Too future?' Or just too raw? As always, DJ Shadow has provoked crucial flashpoints of discussion about the discipline of DJ'ing that have defined our turbulent times.

Nothing wrong here! Great job DJ Shadow. Good to know art of expression is still alive and not just a job!

5 MINUTES INTO THIS SET I CAN LITERALLY SEE A GUY WITH A $400 T-SHIRT, COMPLAINING TO THE MANAGER. AND 2 GIRLS EXPECTING LMFAO REMIXES GOING "EWW"

What crowd was Mansion targeting that night? I listen to mostly electronica and hearing the posted track I think I would have probably walked out of Mansion and gone somewhere else, which is probably what happened that night. I could understand somebody being experimental with tracks, but I think that's best for small venues where the crowd comes in specifically for that and know what to expect.

Lots of surprises in this mix.  For me, it's an enjoyable and entertaining listen. On the other hand, I have no idea what Mansion's clientele enjoys.  A DJ in that environment has to cater to the masses I suppose.
