The people who put on Ultra need to switch it up.They recycle a lot of the same artist,the ticket prices are crazy.Not to mention the whole bus load of fucktards that show up from around the globe to clog the streets.As far as what Deadmau5 showing up again,you would have to be a fool to turn down the kind of money they through at some of the artist.Deadmau5 might seem like a winey bitch sometimes but hes right on the money.I got a dream list of acts id like to see, just to name a few.Golden Panda,Boards of Canada,Depeche Mode,Shed................

Its been played out for a while now. Ultra is for the vapid I-sheep generation.

Talk about shooting yourself in your foot. Ultra's probably still the biggest event in EDM. It's a huge stage for him, so why does he have to naysay something that makes him what he is? Weird. He seriously needs to pick up some other hobbies to get some perspective on just how lucky he is.

ultra will die soon due to their ticket prices, they even took out the one day tickets, which kills me cause im a big ultra fan but when they took out the one day tickets i stopped going, keep in mind that ive been going for 4 years straight but the new times reporter has a point at the end about deadmau5, he just needs to shut up cause he is complaining about ultra but yet he is still getting paid by ultra

hes is completely naive and especially since it has changed yet he signs to play 2 weekends especially to close out main stage twice its like he thinks Ultra should be thankful and kiss his feet to play there but I would rather pass on him and catch someone else

clearly Joel hasn't looked at the lineup, because the festival is definitely not "the same thing". while yes the logo's at the top are "to be expected" - this year, the lineup as a whole is probably the most comprehensive lineup ever put together. perhaps joel just doesn't look past his own name lol

Maybe he just needs to get his head out of his own ass and realize he's just as much of a sellout as he says the musical festivals/acts are. If he wants to go back to the 'roots' of electronic music, why not bring back free raves? concerts that weren't $40 +fees? or even just play in a location that isn't a SOBE club.

It will be played out when people can't afford the ticket prices they raise it to, or when they get to the point where they say they sold early bird tickets and they really didn't sell any, and someone exposes them.
