![]() |
The veteran crooner and world-music virtuoso recently embarked on a North American arena tour, playing music that spans his illustrious 30-year career.
"Putting together the routing and organizing the entire production [has been the most challenging]," Spanish Broadcasting Systems senior VP of entertainment Lucas PiƱa recently told Billboard.

"Arjona travels with ten trucks per show. He has over 72,000 pounds of equipment and more than 4,000 square feet of stage. He has an impressive production, and that's really been the biggest challenge. To build this tour, knowing we have the entire responsibility of putting all the elements together to make it a success."
For the first time in the United States, SBS Entertainment is producing Arjona's entire tour, going "directly to the consumer" in each market to help fill arenas.
"I'm going directly to the consumer with an artist like Arjona, who hasn't toured these markets in four years. Fans were waiting for him."
But the wait is finally over. Thank God.
Ricardo Arjona. Saturday, March 9. American Airlines Arena, 601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. The show starts at 8:30 p.m., and tickets cost $35 to $180 plus fees via ticketmater.com. Call 786-777-1000 or visit aaarena.com.
