Rudimental Will "Feel the Love" at Bardot Saturday, March 16
We're not sure if it's the anticipation of a million mollies waiting to get popped, or the recent announcement of a warm-up show by UK sensation Rudimentary, but either way, we're getting mighty PLUR.
This progressively catchy quartet will be making the jump across the Atlantic to land on the Bardot carpet Saturday, March 16, just in time to help you kick-off your week-long festivities. It's a good chance to catch the act in a more intimate as it prepares to hit the Ultra Music Festival stage.
In a sense, these rising starts have just gotten started. They released their first single to mass commercial appeal last May. The song "Feel the Love" featuring vocals by John Newman is a positive anthem with inspiring chords and the right kind of up-lifting lyrical nonsense to top the charts. It's a classic peak of the night dance hit with a swift drum-n-bass kick in the ass.
But they can get deep with their emotions, too. Follow-up single "Not Giving In" really tears at the heartstrings with some raw vocals from John Newman again, this time joined by popstep star Alex Clare.
Both these tracks will be featured on the upcoming, self-titled album, which can be pre-ordered with an expected release of April. If you act now, there's still time to hop on the Rudimental train before it's kidnapped by the rest of the country.
