Senator Marco Rubio Takes Subtle Jab at Lil Wayne, Still Thinks Tupac is the Greatest (Video)
TMZ caught up with the republican senator at Washington D.C.'s Reagan National Airport this morning and asked the GOP superstar what he thought about the New Orleans rapper's recent declaration: "I ain't 2Pac, I'm the new 'Pac."
"Lil Wayne's Lil Wayne, man," Senator Rubio tells the TMZ cameraman. "I think he's also in a beef with the Heat, the Miami Heat?"

Maintaining his loyalty to West Coast rap, Sen. Rubio argues that there is "only one Tupac," and he hasn't been replicated.
"Tupac lived in a different time; he talked about a different, uh... I mean, these guys have some message in what they're saying, but I think they're largely entertainers. I think Tupac was more someone who was trying to inform us about what was going on, and he did it through entertainment."
Well played, Senator.
