The godfather of booty, Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell.
Anything goes in the wild. Especially when beer is involved.

An unlimited supply of more than 100 domestic, international, and microbrew beers, to be exact. And live appearances by Miami's own booty pioneer and a Grammy-winning hip-hop group.

At least that is what will go down in the wild of the Miami New Times' Brew at the Zoo.

Going on its fourth year, the fest has annually attracted more than 6,000 thirsty thrill seekers to Zoo Miami. And with reason: booze.

Endless samples of it, including good ol' Sam Adams, AmberBock, Estrella Damm, Murphy's Irish Stout, Hawaiian Pipeline Porter, and brews from Schnebly's and Florida Beer Co., just to name a few.

Beer aside, though, the musical 2013 lineup is enough to justify the 30-minute drive. Putting on the show for all you wild beasts will be Uncle Luke and Naughty by Nature.

Naughty by Nature
These guys have been "down wit' O.P.P" for more than 20 years, and they've got the platinum albums to prove it. A 1999 breakup led to Kay Gee producing music with Notorious B.I.G., Next, and Luther Vandross while Treach discovered his passion for acting and appeared in The Sopranos, Soul Food, and Juice, and Vin Rock went into developing Naughty Gear, one of the first hip-hop-inspired clothing lines. But now they're back and kickin' it and bringin' that nonstop "hip-hop hooray" to Brew at the Zoo.

Uncle Luke
Mr. Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell has been cranking up the freak in hip-hop since the early '80s. And for the last three decades, Luke has done just about everything, from making booties bounce to running a record label and even running for Miami Mayor in 2011. He's had his own sports segment on 790 The Ticket. Every week, he shares his insightful views in "Luke's Gospel," his column for Miami New Times. And the 305 native has always remained faithful to his hometown, even keeping it local on his eight studio record, 2006's My Life & Freaky Times, featuring Trick Daddy, Petey Pablo, and Pitbull. In just over a month, he'll be bringing his booty-poppin' music to Brew at the Zoo. And it's guaranteed to make you wanna "Doo Doo Brown."
