She demanded answers. And she got them. And she's still not satisfied.

Pissed about "the highly publicized trip by U.S. musicians Beyoncé Knowles-Carter (Beyoncé) and Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) to Cuba," South Floridian member of the U.S. Congress Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R) bashed the Carters for spending all them tourist dollas in Castro's Cuba.

She even phoned in to TMZ Live to ask the Obama administration: "What kind of license was issued to Beyoncé and Jay-Z that would have allowed them to visit to Cuba?"

And even though the Treasury Department has finally confirmed that the supercouple's "educational exchange trip" was indeed "authorized," Ros-Lehtinen isn't letting go.

UPDATE Jay-Z's finally responded to his Cuba haters with a new track called "Open Letter" and words like, "Obama said, 'Chill, you gon get me impeached.'"

UPDATE #2 Pitbull has dropped a rap response to Jay-Z and Beyonce's Cuba visit, offering to pay for the trip.

Responding yesterday afternoon (via ros-lehtinen.house.gov) to the Treasury Department's "Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) letter on the Cuba trip by Beyonce and Jay-Z," Ros-Lehtinen fumes that the "Obama administration is not serious about denying the Castro regime an economic lifeline."

And she adds: "If the tourist activities undertaken by Beyoncé and Jay-Z in Cuba are classified as an educational exchange trip, then it is clear that the Obama Administration is not serious about denying the Castro regime an economic lifeline that U.S. tourism will extend to it.

"That was a wedding anniversary vacation that was not even disguised as a cultural program," the congresswoman still insists, definitely not satisfied with the Treasury's reasoning for approving of the Carters' vacay in Cuba.

"As more human rights activists engage in hunger strikes, I don't think they will see any evidence of how this scam endeavor will help them become independent of the regime."

I have no problem with their trip, so long as everyone is given the same opportunity to travel. The State Dept. should let me go for my anniversary. It would be an educational trip..

Cronies of the government and/or President, should not be above the law.
