Scarf awesome bites and guzzle fine booze with Juke and New Times' Iron Fork.

Dinner without music.

It lacks what the French call ambiance.

That's why we here at New Times always pair our Iron Fork fiesta (AKA "Miami's most hotly anticipated culinary event") with some tasty local tunes.

And this year, we've ordered up a trio platter of pop-rock, Latin funk, and dirty blues.

Steve Acho
This Motor City pop-rock music man counts "Gavin DeGraw, Boyce Avenue, Tyler Ward, Elton John, Ben Folds, Jackson Brown, [and] Kid Rock" among his influences. And let's not forget Justin Timberlake. You know, post-'N-Sync.

Oh, and FYI, in addition to fancy food parties like Iron Fork, Mr. Acho is also available to "perform at [your] charity event/fundraiser/house party/corporate event/bar mitzvah/Playboy party/Three Stooges Fan Club meeting."

Aaron Lebos Reality
This quartet's got a palate trained on "jazz, funk, rock, R&B, Latin, and world music."

So if the self-described "powerful and unique original music group from Miami" were a tasting menu, it'd probably be a four-course, multi-city culinary tour, zigzagging from New Orleans to Memphis, down to South and Central America, and then back to the MIA.

Sounds delicious! And as the Reality exclaims, "Fun for everyone!"

Juke
Mediocre blues bands are kinda like fast-food burgers. Let Juke's Eric Garcia explain.

"I really hate blues bands," he once told Crossfade while also discussing the virtues of bacon, booze, and rock 'n' roll. "As much as I'm rooted in the stuff, I can't stand traditional blues bands. They bore the shit outta me. I think they're cheesy as hell. They're bad for the music."

So feel free to call Eric and crew, as the fans like to say, the "bad mama jamas" of dirty blues. But they're really more like a Kobe patty on a Brioche bun, topped with a crispy slice of Bourbon-glazed pork belly. No cheese.
