Jay Z Hosting Legends of the Summer Afterparty at Mansion Miami

What would you pay to gawk as Jay Z and Justin Timberlake tag-team 50,000 screaming fans under the South Florida night sky?

Well, if you mean how much it'll cost to buy a single ticket for Jay and JT's Legends of Summer tour stop at Sun Life Stadium in Miami ... Then the credit-card-crushing price tag is currently $279.

Luckily, Jay Z is a self-described "Genius" who understands that a dollar is sometimes tough to hustle up. And that's why he will be hosting a cheaper concert afterparty at Mansion Miami, "featuring [the Hova-endorsed] D'Ussé VSOP Cognac."

UPDATE The club now tells Crossfade that Jay's Legends of the Summer night is "invite only."

Obviously, everyone hopes and dreams of getting down with the Legends of the Summer.

We all want to be backstage (or even in the nosebleeds of a football stadium) to sing-scream along to "Holy Grail," "Rock Your Body," "99 Problems," "Take Back the Night," not to mention once-in-a-lifetime live duets like "Cry Me a River," "FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt," "What Goes Around...Comes Around/Dirt Off Your Shoulder," "Mirrors," and "Run This Town."

But most of us don't carry an American Express black card in a Givenchy wallet. Or you know, own a "Suit & Tie." So $314.80 (after fees) is like, "Jigga What? Jigga Who?"

Of course, though, while admission starts at only $25 with RSVP, it is unlikely that Jay's Mansion afterparty will be any less exclusive than a concert that costs three C-notes.

The South Beach club's got a max capacity of approximately 2,500 guests. And that means all non-legendary, lesser-than-"Genius" respondants-s'il-vous-plait will be probably be left at the door.

But why not hope and pray and send an email to the self-proclaimed "God MC, Jay-hova"?

Exactly. It was bullshit to sell newspapers or get blog hits or wherever it was first "reported"
