Better Than: Any typical Sunday funday that includes a concert and cocktails.

Is there anything better than a long weekend spent at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach?

It hasn't been voted one of the best hotels in the world for nothing. Now, just add Robin Thicke, Pharrell, and open bar.

Did we not just describe the perfect holiday?

The Fontainebleau and its BleauLive concert series has never let this city or its tourists down with the kind of acts they bring to town. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Ne-Yo has graced the hotel's stage. And to celebrate Labor Day, the 'Bleau brought in not just Robin Thicke, but Pharrell to entertain their guests.

Now, you might be asking, "Don't you have to stay there to go to the show?" Well, yes. With VIP packages that started around $600, guests from all lover the world traveled down for this music mania weekend.

But this is Miami, after all. So plenty of locals snuck in. We aren't sure how or who they had to blow for their ticket, but we saw plenty of familiar faces. You also could have taken a place on the pier that looks onto the hotel. About 200 people got a day at the beach and a show. Only in the 305, right?

After picking up the very coveted BleauLive concert wristband, partygoers were informed the party would be taking place on the lawn. The show had been described as "poolside" and we hoped to be able to wade in the actual pool, like July's iHeartRadio bash. But the stage was merely near one. And with degrees touching the 90-degree mark yesterday, being in a body of water would have been ideal.

Still, if there is one thing the Fontainebleau always gets right, it's open bar. Really, can you have a bad time anywhere with unlimited, high-quality booze? From tequila to vodka to beer, everything your little liver desired was all available at no charge.
