Bamboo Miami Beach Closed for Renovations

Categories: News, Nightlife

"We are not open." And that's the bottom line at Bamboo Miami Beach, the sixth best hip-hop club in the 305.

Over the last year, the Washington Avenue club's become a mandatory stopover for rap's most famous jetsetters, from longtime MIA residents Rick Ross and Lil Wayne to out-of-towners like Snoop Dogg, T.I., and French Montana.

The joint even hosted 'Bron, D-Wade, Bosh, and the rest of Miami Heat squad for a 2013 NBA Championship celebration bash.

But now Bamboo is closed, though management insists it's only temporary.

UPDATE The club has finally reopened. Surprisingly, though, it just might lock its doors for Memorial Day weekend, AKA Urban Beach Week.

"Thank you to all of those who partied with us at Bamboo Miami," the club writes on Instagram.

"We are currently under renovations. Sorry for any inconvenience. The re-opening will be insane... Stay tuned for more info."

Seeking extra details about the revamp as well as a timeline for the club's return, we here at Crossfade have contacted Bamboo's reps.

So far, though, no word.
