In these modern times, real love is hard to find.

But if you're feeling too hopeless to even touch yourself, remember that Beyoncé and Jay Z found each other. They have what the rest of the world may never know -- a mutually-beneficial marriage that may or may not include a room in which to sleep with other people. They're both beautiful, talented, rich, and they're coming to rub their love in our faces.

Of course, Bey Z isn't the only superpair to make musical moves. Let's take a closer look at pop's greatest pop power couples ever and pretend that we could be so lucky.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono
The most infamous and influential couple in rock'n'roll history could be none other than John Lennon and Yoko Ono. He was not a mere voice of his generation, but a voice of the human race. She was an experimental artist whose greatest work was breaking up the Beatles - or so they say. They loved posing together naked and staying in bed for world peace. They made albums of beautifully-bizarre music together, such as Double Fantasy and Two Virgins. They were intensely devoted, not that they didn't have the same marital troubles as all other famous couples, and Yoko was right there when John died. She keeps his memory alive today through the Imagine foundation and continues to inspire the world around her to make art and love above all else.

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown
Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown had a lot of things in common, and just because one of those things was a crippling drug addiction doesn't mean their love wasn't real. Sure, they had to continuously publically address the status of their relationship because they made Chris Brown and Rihanna look like a game of patty-cake, but what marriage isn't without its trials? Many would say Bobby was bad for Whitney, but we feel like behind that adorable strut lied a gangsta bitch to begin with. Despite the obvious absurdity of their romantic situation, their marriage lasted 15 years. In 2005, they took their love to TV with the hard-to-watch show Being Bobby Brown. Surprisingly, being on Bravo didn't save their relationship, and they divorced in 2007. Whitney sadly passed in 2012, but Bobby is still going strong. Ain't that the way it goes?

There already are Power Couples. It appears to me that the Miami New Times is getting paid for promoting these two. Why because according to my sources their Miami concert is only about 1/4 sold. :-(
