Vogue Lounge Opens at the Raleigh Hotel

​Sure, Art Basel is great for the art. We'll give you that. But once you get passed the amazing collectors flying from around the world to add stellar pieces to their collections, what else is there? The after parties, of course. But our favorite thing about Art Basel? It also brings some of fashion's heaviest hitters to South Beach.

While rubbing shoulders with fashion's elite isn't the easiest thing to accomplish if you're not a model or celebrity, Vogue has taken the guesswork out with this year's Vogue Lounge. Think: The Devil Meets Prada gallivanting around South Beach, minus the scary Anna Wintour associations. There will be champagne receptions, cocktail parties, and shopping -- and we couldn't be happier.

​We've actually bumped into people like fashion designers Viktor + Rolf and supermodel Naomi Campbell at Art Basel events in years past, but we never actually talked to them. Maybe it was because the actual fashion was missing from the equation?

Well this time, we're taking no prisoners. Fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands are joining forces with one of America's oldest fashion magazines to make sure we get the most Basel week has to offer. How can we say no to that? We just can't.

The Vogue Lounge kicks off with an opening champagne reception on December 1 at 7 p.m., and from then on you can expect cocktail parties, DJ sets by Ess & Emm, and tons of product previews and shopping opps from brands like Trina Turk, Sam Edelman, Bebe, Canon, and Latisse.
