Free Events This Week: Woman to Woman, Siempre Vivire, Ukulele Jams

​If we may say so ourselves, this week offers a pretty sweet variety of artistic and musical events to explore in Miami. From a collection of intimate photos of Celia Cruz, to an interplay of works in every medium by an array of women, to a gathering of ukulele players, join us at one (or all!) of these events for a great -- and completely free -- night out.



​Monday
Woman to Woman: This exploration of women in conversation at the Bakehouse Art Complex features collaborations by ten of Miami's female artists.

​Tuesday
Siempre Vivire: Located at the Hispanic Branch Library, this collection of photographs from the last decades of Celia Cruz's life offers a unique view of the queen of salsa.

Wednesday
"Women and the Eternal Feminine"/"Offerings": These works, by artists Annette Turillo and Maria Thereza Negreiros, are worth making your first visit of the year to the Frost Art Museum.

Old school blues: Cure your midweek blues by listening to Big Poppa E at the Betsy Hotel.

Tropical Park: Enjoy tropical bass at Purdy Lounge with resident DJs Ashworth, Gooddroid and Somejerk.
