We've been tracking all the news related to Uncle Luke's Sundance debut. Read on to find out what everybody's saying.
Between making faces at the camera for an AP photo shoot, Uncle Luke dropped the bomb that 2 Live Crew are making a comeback. Just when we thought all of our dreams had come true.
MTV jumped on the Uncle Luke bandwagon last week, reminding readers that the film's poster is just as Miami-licious as the film itself.
Film Threat confirms what we expected from the start: "If you told me that one of the best La jetée-inspired short films was going to be the whimsically demented tale of 2 Live Crew's Luther Campbell... well, I'd be surprised, but then really want to see it."
The Miami Herald reports that Borscht's Lukey Cushions have become "highly sought after," which makes the fact that we have three of 'em sitting in our office all the more exciting.
Screen-printed whoopee cushions aren't doing all the work, though. Jillian Mayer confided to Salt Lake Magazine that she's roping friends into poster promotion duties so she can see as much as possible.
And in perhaps the most exciting news, Uncle Luke himself had such a great experience with the film that he's clamoring for a full-length documentary on his life. "I think it's a story that needs to be told. I do need 90 minutes," he told the Salt Lake Tribune.
