CSI: Miami Is Canceled, But Horatio Caine's One-Liners Will Live On Forever

Who will mumble to us in a hushed, gravelly tone now?
It's the end of an era.

An era of fake South Florida scenery, shlocky one-liners, and lots and lots of dead people, but an era all the same.

After 10 seasons, CBS has canned CSI: Miami. The announcement came Sunday, from a spokesperson who broke the news with a long pause and a dramatic gesture with his sunglasses. (That's how we're choosing to imagine it went down, anyway.)

CBS gave no official reason for canning the show in its announcement Sunday, stating simply that "CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy -- a signature look and style, global popularity, and as a key player in CBS' rise to the top over the past decade."

Which is all technically true. But we all know the real legacy CSI: Miami leaves behind: the universally mockable Horatio Caine and his signature one-liners. So in memory of the series, and in anticipation of David Caruso's next career move ("professional Lifetime movie villain" is our best guess), enjoy this mash-up of Caine's finest.
