The Webster for Target: Laure Heriard Dubreuil's Five Favorite Looks
Target's new design partnership program is a blessing to fashion hounds on a budget; most pieces from the Webster run in the thousands of dollars, whereas nearly no apparel at Target is over $100. Most items in the 250-piece Webster for Target collection run between $14.99 and $39.99, with few exceptions, and channel Miami lifestyles (think swimwear, ladies who lunch, floral daywear).
We caught up with Laure Hériard Dubreuil, CEO and cofounder of the Webster, to discuss her five favorite head-to-toe looks from the capsule collection, as well as what her inspiration was for designing each. All pieces will be available at select Target stores May 6.
"The Webster at Target wouldn't be inspired by Miami if it didn't include swimsuits, which was very important to me when co-creating the collection. The colorblock cardigan was inspired by a cardigan my mom wore when I was little, and is also available in Dusty Pink. But I think the White is so timeless and fresh. The bathing suit in palm print is a flattering cut and topped with the cardigan makes for an elegant beach look!"
"The Webster's top sellers are dresses, so when we were creating the collection we wanted to make sure we included a variety of dresses both The Webster and Target guests would enjoy. The print is inspired by the vintage wallpapers found throughout The Webster boutique, and is the perfect ensemble for both day and night. Accessorized with the gold hoop earrings and palm print wedges, this look is a summer must-have!"
