Hi Skrawberry, 

I'm in a situation and hoping you can help. I've always been good friends with lots of guys but this is the first time I've ever had a "friends with benefits" situation. I don't wanna fuck it up, because he's a good man, but neither him or me wants to settle down right now. 

So how do I keep it cool so it's not awkward and so I don't ruin our friendship?

Chile please, this happens all the time! You have a friend with benefits? Girl, you agreeing to keep gettin' fucked for free. Not only that, those kind of relationships never last long -- no matter how long y'all fuck or how close y'all friendship is. 

You crossed the line when you first jumped in bed with him. Now you worryin' about your feelings because you want more, but since you know he ain't havin' it, you askin' me for advice on how to keep it cool. 

Girl, if he ain't tryna move forward, especially if you want more and he's refusing to give it to you, you need to move on -- even if it mean losin' a friend. To be honest, you lost a friend when y'all first fucked! Now you fuckin' your friend, and all ya friend really owe you is conversation, so of course you are unhappy cause now he won't give you what you want. 

How can he be a good man if he's havin' this on-going sexual relationship with his friend who want a relationship and he won't even try to meet her halfway? You can't keep cool in this kind of situation. Could you possibly even be stopping yourself from seein' other men because you want to spare his feelings? Girl, he ain't got none! And if he do, it ain't enough, because he don't halfway want you! 

When men label us women as "friends with benefits," we just become a convenient fuck. Don't be a convenient fuck! Set standards for yourself! If he's not givin' you what you want, go fuck somebody who will!
