Go! Sticker: Wynwood Walls Gets Sticky with Adhesive Exhibit
|Inside the Go!Shop.|
Although the practice has a following, Miami's never seen an artist collective specific to the practice. Go! Shop and Wynwood Walls aim to change that with "Go! Sticker: An Adhesive Experience."The event is the first in a series of curated exhibits and projects taking place at the Walls to shed light on street art's ever-evolving culture.

After a successful run as a pop-up shop during Basel, Go! Shop established permanent residency as the official shop of the Walls in December. "Go! Sticker" will be its first Go! Show, and is curated by artist Bomit. The show will include a fair where stickers can be purchased, a large-scale sticker installation, and programming from close to 100 artists. Some sticky names to look out for are Wolf, Skullnbone, Evoker, Abe Lincoln Jr., and Obey Giant, Shepard Fairey.
Get to know the name of the artist whose sticker is posted up on the gas pump down the block or the back of the Metro bench you're staring it. Artists, take the opportunity to network with fellow adhesive appreciators. There's nothing to lose because the event is free and open to the public.
Go! Sticker takes place at Wynwood Walls, 2516 NW Second Ave. Unit B, Miami, opening reception Wednesday, February 13 from 6 to 10 p.m., the exhibit runs daily February 14 to 18 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and starting February 19 to 28 from 12 to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Call 305-576-8205.
