​After allegedly furiously swiping a fan's iPhone last weekend, Chris Brown may find himself behind bars sometime soon. Jose Lambiet at Gossip Extra says that Miami Beach Police and the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's prosecutors are in the process of planning on the best way to arrest Brown and speculates a warrant could come as early as today.

But Miami-Dade prosecutors tell Riptide that's unlikely. "Given that the prosecutor handling the case is in trial today, nothing will happen until that trial is complete," says Ed Griffith, a spokesman for the State Attorneys Office.

What do an aspiring pop star, a South Beach music mogul, Florida's most powerful lobbyist, and Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade have in common? They're all involved in one of the most bizarre, sordid recording-industry lawsuits ever filed in Miami-Dade County, complete with allegations of backstabbing, unsolicited foot-licking, and sexual assault.

Phyllisia Ross, an up-and-coming pop starlet and Wyclef Jean protege, claims in a lawsuit that SoBe Entertainment record executive Cecile Barker sexually assaulted her.

"I woke up and [Cecile Barker] had my foot in his hand and he was trying to lick on my foot," Ross said. "I shook him off, and I was like, 'What are you doing?'"

The singer-dancer-woman-beater stands accused by Miami Beach cops of snatching an iPhone from a fan last weekend outside a SoBe club and then driving off with it. If true, Chris Brown is a giant out-of-control jerk. If not true, well, he's still a giant jerk.

​Jennifer Lopez is the latest victim of Florida's foreclosure crisis. The condo in the Icon Brickell building she was shacking up in with her latest younger lover, Caspar Smart, has now been bought up out of foreclosure by someone else and Lopez will have to move out according to Gossip Extra. Don't worry about J.Lo's bank account though. Lopez was only leasing the place, so the foreclosure isn't related to her personal finances.

​Our profile of Victoria Jackson, Saturday Night Live cast member turned Tea Party-lovin', Bible-thumpin' Fox News screamer, was published in several Village Voice Media newspapers yesterday. Jackson made clear late last night she thought it was a "hit piece" typical of the liberal media. She sent us a "rebuttal," which she also published on the site where she is employed, Patriot Update.
