Alvarez vs. Seijas vs. Traffic

• When will the residents of this county wake-up and recognize that Mayor Carlos Alvarez is the only elected county official that gives a hoot about the residents. How did we get so lucky (I say luck because we have a history of electing the worst of the worst) to elect a man of integrety, compassion and intellegence? People should be lined up to support the best thing that has happened to this dysfunctional county in a very long time. If the voters of District 13 don't recall Seijas, it speaks volumes about the strangle-hold the corrupt ones have on us. The unions should be ashamed of supporting one of the worst commissioners we have had; all because they are afraid of lessening their cozy position. Maybe a new commssioner would be even better for them but they apparently will settle for a rotten thing rather than change the status quo.Just what has seijas done for the working person except build them into a stinking, road- clogged, school-overcrowded, tax-burdened, water-depleted, corrupt county.
