Castro Who?

Categories: News
El dictador

Today's Associated Press poll regarding Fidel Castro that was printed nationwide and in the Miami Herald wasn't particularly newsworthy. Sixty-four percent of Americans have a "very or somewhat unfavorable" opinion of the island's dictator.

Yawn.

What was really interesting, though, is how young Americans view Castro. According to the article, 35 percent of people 18 to 34 said they don't know enough about Castro to have an opinion about him.

Guess those high school history classes are glossing over that little Bay of Pigs incident. Ah, the joys of standardized testing!

In other Castro news, Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez revealed that his buddy is eating solid food! Pass the pastelito!
