If the Detroit Pistons look a little sluggish at the AAA tonight, blame it on the Patron. Last night at SoBe club, The Fifth, Piston Chris Webber had a birthday party, his so-called "Celebrity Birthday Extravaganza." Joined by teammates Rasheed Wallace, Chauncey Billups, and Rip Hamilton, Webber brought in his 34th year in true South Beach style. A performance by hip-hop legend Nas, VIP girls with his Pistons #84 jerseys painted on them and little else, and beats spun by DJ Biz Markie. Clutching a bottle of Patron for a for a good part of the night and puffing on a cigar, Webber partied like a man that knew he could sleep in the next day, all day. Heat players James Posey, Earl Barron and others were in the house but let's face it, when it comes to partying and playing basketball, those guys are pros at blending the two — don't make me eat my words tonight, fellas. --Raina McLeod
