Ned's Legend: A Recap

Fighting Ned got his own shirt recently, but we at Riptide thought we should remind you why A'mod Ned is our favorite FIU footballer.

First, the jokers over at The Big Picture started Photoshopping the scrappin' Ned into all sorts of hot spots: in the ring with Mike Tyson, ascending Everest, even causing a melee at a 5K (above, right).

A month later, at Deadspin, Ned was placed in heroic historic battles, including the D-Day invasion (below), an 18th Century naval skirmish, even thrust amid a warring King Kong and T-Rex.

Ned, you are our hero.
