He's free all right

A guy named Michael came by New Times’s offices yesterday with this photograph (presumably of himself) and a five-page typewritten note explaining his planned “Freedumb Run”:

A personal patriot act. Sort of a cross bewteen Paul Revere and Lady Godiva minus the horse.

A full ass salute to our Commander and Chief George W. Bush the “Decider.”

Downtowners, keep your eyes peeled in the coming hours, as Michael promises to run from SW 1st Street and 1st Avenue north to NE 4th Street, west to Biscayne Boulevard and north to the Freedom Tower. Maybe he’ll take in the Goya show.

If you miss him, don’t lament. “I may be back next Friday for another Freedumb run,” he writes, “unless the freedom I really have is the freedom to think I am free and end up in Guantanamo or worse yet the Dade County Jail in a thong.”
