The Party Crasher - J. Lo No Show

J. Lo sold her fans out at The Forge on Wednesday, November 7, not showing up for her own after party.

Wednesday night, a swarm of Miami Beach elite came out to The Forge to mix and mingle at the bar, awaiting a vintage glamour fashion show hosted by North Miami’s C. Madeleine’s, “one of the fashion wonders of the world.” Centered in the main dining room was a special round table for J. Lo and guests to admire the runway, only the preggers pop star never showed. Jenny from the block was slated to host the after party at the SoBe hotspot following her concert with hubby Marc Anthony by her side. Instead, a disappointing substitute, Mickey Rourke was on scene checking out the catwalk, which was clad with garments from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. Although the fashion show was a success, J. Lo’s flop had photographers and cameramen moping around on their feet for hours. Eventually, the traffic dispersed and VIPs were invited into Glass, sans J. Lo. Sipping Grey Goose in the corner, Scott Storch was out and about once again, taking a few back with a crowd of Latinas – who decided to get plastered instead of crying about their idol, the sell out. -- Tracy Block
