Venezuela: To Vote or Not to Vote?

• Dear Friends, Indeed, the fact that the opposition has incited Venezuelans not to vote has had terrible consequences for the people who do not support the current Process. The fact is that at this point, everyone SHOULD GO out and vote. Then, if the majority of the people came out and voted, and still Chavez had got his way, then Hell should break loose. However, the opposition has really done a dis-service to the Venezuelan people by leading them into the wrong way. It is such a truth, that Venezuelans who don�t want this process DO NOT, read it again, DO NOT want those people from the opposition to go back into power. They have shown very poor judgment at the time to resolve the problems and they have not been able to demonstrate to the Venezuelans that they are prepared to lead the country in the correct direction. On the contrary, they have shown themselves desperate and un-prepared. Why the students are making a difference in this process? Because they have divorced themselves from the old opposition who got the Venezuelans into this mood of complete voting apathy. The students are fighting Chavez on his own territory. They went to the correct instance to make the law of the land be respected. That is the way how it should be done. If Venezuelans go out and vote, then they would have fulfilled their right and responsibility to say 'NO'. If someone comes and tries to take that away, then the Armed Forces and the International Community will see the problem and pronounce themselves regarding the situation and condemn it when necessary. But, under the current circumstances, Chavez will win again and the majority of Venezuelans can not complaint about it since they did not vote because the opposition guided them with the incorrect strategy. The reader should feel sorry for the Venezuelan people since the great majority are stuck between two streams: one with deep pockets full of cash �following� the law and the other desperate for overthrow it. The opposition is calling for violence over and over, for the Venezuelan Armed Forces to come and resolve a civilian problem, for the US to go and invade and resolve their problem. They have an emotional (reacting) response to this problem and the Venezuelans see that. The Venezuelan opposition is acting like when a child throws a tantrum and that is not the way how it needs to be done. If Chavez has been in power for 9 years, how comes the opposition has not learned from their mistakes from the past? How comes they will make the same errors again and again, while Chavez sees them and just waits for the same results?
