The Party Crasher - Mary J. Blige Holds Down A Stellar Concert Kick-off After Party
After tearing up the American Airlines Arena alongside Jay Z, The Dream and surprise guests Kanye West, Timbaland and Young Jeezy Saturday night, the main mama of R&B, Miss Mary J. Blige headed out for some late night fun. The diva was in town kicking off her new joint tour with H.O.V.A entitled “Heart of the City,” which sold out just as fast as the presale for her Karu&Y after party, hosted by slammin’ Headliner Market Group.
A herd of the queen of R&B’s appreciators swarmed through to Karu&Y, Miami’s hottest urban party spot, to show some love for Mary and friends. Rockin’ a sexy red ensemble, a blonde Mary J. came through with her hubby/manager Kendu Isaacs. The couple danced and popped bottles of Ace of Spades bubbly in celebration of the tour alongside a pack of celeb partiers including Dwyane Wade, Busta Rhymes and Fabolous with NFL stars Plaxico Burress, Antrel Roll, Fred Taylor, Larry Johnson and Bryant McKinney nearby.
Roc-A-Fella’s resident, DJ Clue, was on hand spinnin’ hot jams all night long. The party was harder to break into than a fresh pair of kicks, but those who were lucky enough to make it inside had no complaints while showing Blige how to get down on a Miami Saturday night.
