While Paris Hilton was in town yesterday searching for her new BFF, things were busy heating up at Mansion for the inaugural BBF. The Broker Boxing Federation – comprised of real estate industry heavyweights – hosted a match that had fighters training up to six months in advance for the big debut. Raising funds for Alonzo Mourning Charities, the Mournings – who arrived separately and more than fashionably late – were joined by Brooke Hogan, Harry Morton and a slew of local socialites and VIPs. Aside multiple bloody moments in the ring, another night highlight included the arrival of James Brown impersonator, Tony Wilson, who walked the red carpet with a drum band in tow.

Brooke Hogan made her appearance with Glenn Douglas Packard and Ashley Menendez to shoot segments for blondie’s new reality show “Brooke Hogan Knows Best.” I mean, really, could they get a little more creative with that one? The B-lister had a few drinks and was on her best behavior during the shoot, signing autographs and taking endless pix, after all, it was a charity event...Hogan posed and blew kisses to Miami socialite Gail Posner and her pup Conchita, because what’s a mogul gala without a pocket-sized pooch along for the ride?

Nevertheless, the event was a huge success, attracting more than 1,500 guests and raising $250,000 for charity. The brutal battles ringside were greeted with excitement, especially the rounds of Grant Killingsworth’s messy match, which had fans cheering until his victory. Is the name a coincidence? I think not... Those interested in mingling with movers, shakers and money makers headed to the bar for Roberto Cavalli Vodka cocktails and Knights Head brewskis. Fight judges included top dogs David Barton, Michael Capponi Ernie Cambo, Michael Comras and Diego Lowenstein. Sexy bikini-clad ring gals were eye candy throughout the night, but hey, it is Miami, so obviously things got super hot up in Mansion, even if the bouncers weren’t busy beating the shit out of another round of cheap skates. -- Tracy Block
