First I have to make a correction. Crew has actually missed 55 days, not 54. According to memos Crew sends to school board members announcing his time off, he has taken 30 personal/vacation days and 25 days for "temporary duty," which apparently allows Crew to leave town to attend ultra-crucial highly-important scholastic events like the National Superintendent’s Roundtable Conference in Seattle, Washington, on November 5 and 6 of last year. Hope that clarifies things for you.
What constitutes not showing up for work? He certainly hasn't taken 54 vacation days, has he?
