Over the Weekend - Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad, Miami Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, and Modeselektor

I'm writing this at the moment with the most immense champagne hangover, so you know it was a great weekend. How could it not be? This weekend was so action packed that if you stayed home watching Flavor of Love reruns, I feel bad for you.

Rag Trade Grand Reopening

Jose D. Duran

Rag Trade opened its doors again, but there has been a change in ownership as Jason Jimenez and Lauren "Lolo" Reskin, both of Sweat Records, have taken the reigns of one of Miami's most beloved secondhand boutiques.

Miami City Ballet's Our Show 2008

Sayre Berman

To close out its season, Miami City Ballet allows its company members to choose, choreograph and produce their own show. The result is Our Show, which is held at the company's dance studio in Miami Beach

Were the Jewish girls gone wild all that satisfying? Our reviewer John Hood rather not say much at all if he can't say anything nice.

Miami Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival

Ivon David Rojas

Gasp! An ethnic event in Miami that has nothing to do with Latino culture? Stunned, I know.

Modeselektor at Studio A

Justin Namon/thepopnessparty

The reason for my champagne hangover, but it was all worth it to see the German duo in a rare U.S. appearance.
