Al Gore-owned Current TV produced a video on the sex offenders who were told to live under the Julia Tuttle Causeway because there was no place in Miami-Dade County that they could legally live at without breaking the law. Former staff writer Isaiah Thompson, who did a series of stories on the homeless sex offenders, is featured in the video giving his own two-cents on the subject.

Monsters of Miami: Current's Take On Miami's Homeless Sex Offenders
5 Comments:
It sounds as if the good people of Miami dont want these people to have a chance.
Yeah sure, who cares about them right?
What are you going to do when you finally force these people to stop caring about your laws and go into hiding?
You will have a much larger problem that you COULD have prevented. But, the other ways of handeling sex offenders wont get you the votes you need will it? The Humane way to handle it wont get you millions of dollars will it?
You either handle sex offenders the RIGHT way or the POLITICAL way. We all know the direction you went.

Just curious...do the female RSO's live on the other side of the causeway...or are they "too pretty" to exiled? If someone did this sort of thing to animals everyone would be up in arms and screaming "cruelty to animals!", so what gives anyone the right to treat human beings this way?! This is WRONG on so many levels I can't even count them all!! I'm sorry you guys...you don't deserve to be treated this way...we need laws that help not hurt...just sayin'

Great job Isaiah! Tell it like it is.
