Bummer. The Moore Space, one of Miami's most exciting and highest profile art spaces, is closing this October. It was founded in 2001 by Rosa de la Cruz and Craig Robbins to help showcase local artists during Art Basel. Since then it has earned its status as an internationally prominent experimental art venue. With a particular taste for works that combine film, performance and installations the Moore Space has hosted the TM Sisters, Hernan Bas, Tracy + The Plastics, John Bock, Kalup Linzy, and many other international and local artists through out the years.

It's departure just downright sucks.
