Bitchiest (aka Best) Letter To The Editor Ever

This letter to the editor The Miami Hurricane, UM's student newspaper, printed today is one of the most scathing I've ever seen. And it's all about the paper. And it's all mostly right on. The letter starts with "The Miami Hurricane is a rag", detours to some personal attacks on staff members ("Felipe Yanez should pick a new major. All CNN reporters are either smart or attractive, and he is neither."), and ends with "Please learn how to write. Thanks." It's all wonderfully bitchy, and maybe the greatest thing the paper has printed in some time (at least since "Keeping An Open Mind About Incest").

Not to be picking on student journalists. There're some talented kids that have come through UM. The problem has to do more with (surprise, surprise) faculty. Though that's not to say that this letter is any less right on, but hopefully by printing it the new staff is owning up, fixing their problems, and moving on.
